Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research.

It's easy to add LBCC Library resources to Google Scholar! Just follow these four easy steps. (Also see this printable handout for the same walk through.)
1. Visit the Google Scholar website and search for your topic.
2. Click the three lines in the upper left hand corner. Then click on Settings.
3. Now that you are in the Google Scholar Settings menu, click on "Library Links." You can find the Linn Benton Community College Library by searching for "LBCC." Select the LBCC Library and click "Save." (Pro tip: You can also add any other libraries you belong to).
4. Results from Google Scholar will now include a link to the LBCC Library when the resource is included in the Library's collections. Click the link to sign in and view the article.
Google Scholar offers two powerful tools to help with your research: Cite and Cited by.
Below each entry are buttons for each feature:
Cited By finds books that have used this book as a resource. This is very help when you need more sources on similar topics.
The Cite tool creates citations for you, be sure to select the correct type:
